Description
This historic Marathi biographical directory serves as a comprehensive genealogical record for the Gaud Saraswat Brahmin (GSB) community. It acts as a single-source ledger mapping family ancestral lineages (gotras), native root origins, corresponding family surnames, and specific family deities (kuladaivats). Additionally, it documents institutional GSB history by cataloging regional temples, community monasteries (matthes), and concise profiles of prominent historic personalities spanning from Dr. Bhau Daji Lad to Sachin Tendulkar.
